KRAM 96 FM Quick Facts:
KRAM 96 FM is west central Minnesota's newest radio station. Although we're pretty young, KRAM has been in the boiling pot since 1997. KRAM 96 FM was built by two high school students of Montevideo. Now KRAM 96 FM is on the air with 100 watts of clear FM Stereo power, from downtown Montevideo. KRAM 96 FM spins a wide variety of music, from Paul Simon, the Beatles, and Bruce Springsteen, to Maroon 5, U2, and Dave Matthews Band, with the Gin Blossoms, Wallflowers, R.E.M. and John Mellencamp in the middle. KRAM 96 FM targets young and old, and is a favorite in the car because of the mix and greater amounts of music.
