KRAM 96 FM is owned and operated by ThunderHawk Broadcasting Inc. THBI is a local non-profit corporation. THBI was formed in January of 2000 for the ownership of KKRM-LP.
Our Mission:
KRAM 96 FM is a local, non-profit, student run radio station teaching the rules of radio and broadcasting through an eclectic mix of music, community involvement, innovation, and promotion of community events, while advancing the founders' vision of the radio station.
Our Goal
Our goal is to provide Montevideo and other areas with high quality radio service. We offer a mix of music and local events that is not heard on regular commercial stations. We work with high school students to teach them the rules of radio.
We try to promote our local economy and local businesses, as well as, community events and cultural happenings.
