But, there is more
to CURE and to this celebration. CURE is a growing
organization concerned about preserving the river
environment for future generations. This event is about
increasing the awareness in the river valley, how the
resource has been abused and how to stop the abuse.
All of us should
share the concern. We should all realize it is something
to be cherished, preserved and enjoyed.
The
Minnesota River, its tributaries, and the beautiful
surrounding area are the focal point of CURE and it
should be enjoyed. CURE is about revival of this
resource.

How can someone care about or protect something
until they have experienced it?"
